Telecom Antiques - The following items are part of telecom history. Some pieces are over 100 years old. The make a very nice gift for any telecom professional as they are completely unique and difficult if not impossible to find elsewhere. Southwestern Bell emblem with inset lavender stone. Two and a half inches closed. Weighs two ounces. Features two folding, non-locking 2 inch (5.1 cm) blades: Knife blade and combination file/screwdriver. This was a service anniversary gift to a Southern Bell Employee. Picture of blades Federation of Women Telephone Workers Charm $29 - New in the original box, measures 5/8" in diameter, obtained from member of FWTW. Charm text is "Federation of Women Telephone Workers, Since 1934, Speaks For Itself" 1955 Bell Telephone Ad "Not A Man In Sight" $19 - Ad is approximately 7" x 10" from original National Geographic magazine. In excellent condition with no major defects noted. Suitable for framing. 1965 Bell Telephone Ad "Communications Consultant" $39 - Ad is approximately 17" x 11" from original Time magazine. In excellent condition with no major defects noted. Suitable for framing. Ad mentions "Data communications service; call director phones; desktop console switchboards; teletypewriter service; hands-free speakerphones; telephone answering-recording service." Classic Bell System films on DVD "Volume 1" $49 - Back in the years before it was broken apart, the Bell System produced numerous films to explain how the phone system worked, and to extol the many benefits of Ma Bell. Rare Women's Jeans Embroidered with Bell System Logo $49 - This is an old (like new condition) pair of COUNTRY BLUES womens/girls (size 5, 32" inseam) blue jeans with BELL SYSTEM LOGO embroiderer on rear pocket. Front button above zipper & all grommet also have Bell Logo on them. These were purchased through Bell back in the early 80's and worn only 2 or 3 times. Dark Blue denim with light blue stitching. Like new condition. Pic2 Pic3 AT&T 800 Airplane Desk Set $49 - An airplane shaped desk set given away by AT&T 800. The airplane contains tape, scissors, pencil sharpener, tape measure, eraser & a stapler. It comes with a little paper airplane hanger and the original box in which it was mailed. AT&T 800 sent these to try to drum up business in the 1980's. Pic2 Vintage Bell Systems Yellow Pages Glasses $49 - Five vintage Bell System Yellow Pages cocktail glasses. Do you remember the advertising campaign on the Television "LET YOUR FINGERS DO THE WALKING THROUGH THE YELLOW PAGES"? Each Glass measures 5 1/2" High. They are 12 Oz Glasses and are perfect for cocktails, water or any other beverage. All are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the LOGO IS PERFECT! A great addition to your Advertising Collection! Pic2 1890 Bennett "Short-Distance Telephone" Ad $29 - I belive this original ad is from page 26 of the magazine Architecture & Art Decorations. Ad measures 6.75" x 2" and is suitable for framing. Engraved Bell System American Telephone Money Clip Knife $49 - Vintage AT&T American Telephone and Telegraph Bell Systems combination money clip and pocket knife in great condition. American Telephone and Telegraph Bell Systems Advertising. Measures approx. 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". From estate of gentleman who worked for AT&T many years. Pic2 Vintage American Bell System Telephone Pen & Pencil Sell $79 - Vintage pen and pencil set in mint condition. American Telephone and Telegraph Bell Systems advertising. Pic2 Vintage American Bell System Telephone Pocket Lighter $39 - Vintage AT&T American Telephone and Telegraph Bell Systems pocket lighter in mint condition in original box. American Telephone and Telegraph Bell Systems advertising on one side, and a "Warning, Before Digging...." message on the second side. Never been lit.. Measures approx. 2 1/4" X 1 1/2". Pic2 Pic3 1984 AT&T Mountain Bell Divestiture Wine Goblets $29 - Produced for Bell employees to commemorate the AT&T Mountain Bell-Divestiture, January 1, 1984. They are in great shape. 6 3/8" high. 1973 GTE Data Services - Set of 2 Tumblers $29 - GTE Data Services glasses from the 1973 Service Award Dinner. The tumblers have the "GTE Data Services" logo on the top of them and the bottom says "1973 Service Award Dinner". The glass has a smokey tint and the logos are printed in black on the surface. The tumblers are approximately 3" tall, and the rim of the glasses are approximately 3" wide. These tumblers are in excellent condition. GTE Data Services - Set of 4 Glasses $39 - GTE Data Services glasses. The "GTE Data Services" logo is etched into the glass. The glasses are approximately 5 5/8" tall, and the rim of the glasses are approximately 2 3/4" wide. These glasses are in excellent condition.
