The information below represents a non-exhaustive list of FCC and state regulatory assessment and reporting requirements coming due January 1, 2006 through January 31, 2006.  The filing deadlines are generally applicable to inter-exchange or long distance telecommunications service providers, including switched and switchless resellers as well as prepaid providers.  If your company holds an FCC 214 authorization or provides intrastate toll service in any one of the states listed below, chances are that one or more of the requirements covered in this Alert may apply to your company.  Interest on late payments and/or other penalties, including loss of state certification, may apply if filings or payments are not submitted on time.

Alaska

Quarterly RCC Report - Due January 31.

 

California

PUC User Fee (Annual or 2nd Quarter) - Due January 15.

 

Connecticut

Annual Report - Due within 60 days of close of fiscal year.

 

Florida

Regulatory Assessment Fee - Due January 30.

 

Idaho

Annual Notice - Due by January 1.

 

Illinois

Annual Statement of Registered Agent - Due by January 31.

 

Indiana

Public Utility Fee - Due by January 1.

 

Nevada

Annual Assessment - Due by January 1.

 

New Mexico 

Annual Carrier and Utility Inspection Report - Due by January 20.
